Plan my social campaign with Marketing Planner

Overcome your creative mental blocks with Marketing Planner's list of upcoming holidays, trending topics and suggested post prompts to help inspire your social media content. Banish post paralysis with ready-made templates to help you create, post, and schedule relevant content for your marketing strategy.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
  3. At the top of your Dashboard, expand Marketing, and then select Social Posts.

  3. Select Marketing Planner.
  1. Browse the upcoming dates of interest. Nearly every day has some topic to frame your marketing message.

    Will you choose to honor National Cheese Pizza Day? Or does the appreciation of book worms fit your brand better? Maybe your ideal customer would love to hear about your favorite brews in early September. The choice is yours!
  2. Select Details to the right of each date to view a brief description and related hashtags that can be copied and used in your post.
  3. In the upper-right of your Marketing Planner page, select Create Social Post.
  4. Write your post's caption on the topic of your choice. If desired, add a graphical template, photo, product, website link or video to your post.

  5. Select Preview Post.
  6. Select the desired toggles to distribute your post to Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Select Connect account to publish, and then follow the setup steps if you haven't yet connected a desired social account.
  7. (Optional) Scroll to Preview & Customize and select the pencil icon to customize your post for a desired social account.
  8. Choose Publish now, and then select Publish. Or, choose Schedule for later, then select a desired date and time, and then select Schedule.
    Note: If you choose Schedule for later, the scheduled post must be at least 15 minutes in the future and can be a maximum of 4 weeks in advance.
  9. View your scheduled posts, as well as their intended platforms, on the sidebar beneath the calendar. The days with posts scheduled will be highlighted on the calendar. This overview comes in handy when planning out your posting strategy for the month.
